One of my favorite quotes is: “The best way to predict the future is to create it.” That’s exactly what we continue to do here at TXST — build on a strong foundation, dream big, and act boldly to create an awesome future for our university and students. 

This year, TXST celebrated record-breaking enrollment and reached new heights in research expenditures and production. These achievements underscore our goals of supporting the Texas workforce and economy. As one of the nation’s fastest-growing states, Texas demands a highly skilled workforce, and TXST is stepping up to meet that challenge.  

TXST is a powerful force in expanding access to higher education and driving research that improves lives across Texas and beyond. Serving more than 40,000 students on our San Marcos and Round Rock campuses, through online programs, and partnerships with community colleges — and over 237,000 alumni —TXST is shaping the future of our state. 
 
I am proud to be part of this Bobcat community where I am inspired every day by our students and alumni and honored to work alongside our talented faculty and staff members. We are truly building the legacy of tomorrow.
